Richard T. Williams


Mr. Williams practice is focused on tort and personal injury law. Before joining Gridley, Ward and VanDyke in 2008, Mr. Williams was general council for a large Utah title company, where he was significantly involved with complex insurance litigation where he gained a unique understanding of the framework of civil litigation cases from the viewpoint of the insurance company and its insured. Now on behalf of injured parties, Mr. Williams uses this understanding and experience to focus his practice on the areas of automobile accidents, premises liability, and other seriously injured persons.


Outside the office Rich loves spending time with his wife, Natalie, and his four children. Rich also enjoys cycling, fly fishing, exercising, backpacking, camping and traveling all over Utah.


Mr. Williams education includes a Bachelors in History with a minor in Political Science from Arizona State University. He attended the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law and received his Juris Doctorate in 2001. His professional affiliations are the Rex E. Lee Inns of Courts, Utah Association of Justice, and the Utah Bar Association.
